This position focuses on the development, characterization, and optimization of novel materials and architectures that enable scalable, high-performance quantum technologies. The candidate will work at the intersection of condensed matter physics, quantum information science, and materials engineering to address critical challenges in coherence, scalability, and fault-tolerant quantum computation. The postdoctoral researcher will be engaged in: 1. Designing and fabricating advanced materials and nanostructures for superconducting qubits, spin qubits, and other emerging platforms. 2. Applying state-of-the-art spectroscopic, cryogenic, and computational techniques to investigate quantum coherence and material performance. 3. Exploring material-driven approaches for error correction, quantum control, and device integration. 4. Contributing to collaborative research efforts across physics, materials science, and computer science to accelerate the translation of quantum technologies into real-world applications.
