Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences, from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), is accepting interns interested in the field of Marketing, in the research area of Consumer Behaviour and Relationship Management.

The internship involves immersive research in the field of consumer behaviour and relationship management, with a specific focus on subaltern consumers. The intern will conduct ethnographic fieldwork among selected tribal communities to explore their consumption patterns, decision-making processes, cultural influences, and relationship dynamics with brands, products, and services. Key tasks include designing and implementing qualitative research methods such as participant observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions; documenting lived experiences; and analysing the socio-cultural factors that shape consumer behaviour in subaltern contexts.
