About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Department of Laws, from Panjab University, Chandigarh, is accepting interns interested in the field of Environmental Science, in the research area of Solid and Hazardous Waste Management.

The selected interns will work on field-based research experience in the area of Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, with a focus on empirical data collection in Chandigarh villages such as Dadu Majra, Daria, and Dhanas. Interns will actively engage with local communities to understand waste management practices, challenges, and impacts at the grassroots level. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct direct data collection through surveys, interviews, and on-site observations in villages. Build rapport with villagers, clearly communicating the research purpose to encourage ethical and meaningful participation. Record, organize, and document collected data with accuracy and integrity. Adhere strictly to research ethics, including securing informed consent and maintaining participant confidentiality.
