About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of Petrochemical Engineering, from ICT-IOC Bhubaneswar, is accepting interns interested in the field of Chemical Engineering, in the research area of Industrial Pollution Control Engineering.

Red mud is the waste obtained from the bauxite conversion to alumina. The amount generated is quite huge and is highly alkaline in nature. It needs proper management so that the waste can be converted into value added products with recovery of some common as well as rare earth material. This not only benefit the society and environment near the industry but also reduce the extensive mining by some parts and preserve the resources for longer duration. Looking for the interested and motivated candidate who can explore the best possible solution among the various theoretical possibilities.
