Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai , is accepting interns interested in the field of Mechanical Engineering, in the research area of Alternative Fuels and Pollution Control.
In today's world, due to the damage caused by greater demand for fossil fuels, many alternative solutions such as extracting energy from waste and also from green biofuels have been offered. This project aims to eliminate the usage of conventional fuel in a diesel engine by incorporating binary green fuel (Waste Cooking Oil biodiesel blended with Pimpinella anisum as low viscous oil) effectively. Interns need to be well-versed with simulation softwares like AVL-CRUISE, GT-Power, OpenFOAM, and Simulink.
