About Internship

Project coordinator from International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad), is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Artificial intelligence and Machine learning.

This research-intensive position focuses on the intersection of Computer Vision and Efficient Deep Learning. The project aims to bridge the gap between high-complexity models and real-time execution on edge hardware. Candidates will work on the frontier of model optimization, exploring how Large Language Models (LLMs) and sophisticated vision algorithms can be compressed and deployed on decentralized computing platforms. This role is designed for those who want to move beyond cloud-based AI and solve the engineering challenges of "on-device" intelligence. Roles & Responsibilities 1. Architect and implement robust algorithms for Object Detection and Tracking within complex image and video datasets. 2. Fine-tune Large Language Models using parameter-efficient techniques such as LoRA and QLoRA to adapt models for specialized domains. 3. Optimize deep learning pipelines for real-time inference using PyTorch and ONNX to minimize latency and memory footprint. 4. Prototype and deploy end-to-end AI solutions on NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Orin platforms, managing hardware-specific constraints. 5. Build interactive data visualization tools and front-end deployments using Streamlit to showcase research metrics and live model outputs. 6. Maintain a rigorous experimental mindset to test emerging neural architectures and contribute data to academic publications.
