Assistant Professor, Department of Department of Geography, from Amity University, Kolkata, is accepting interns interested in the field of Geography, Urban Geographical Issues,Disaster Management, Community Approach, in the research area of Climate Change Adaptation, Urban Resilience, Sustainable Development, Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction.
This internship provides an opportunity to work on research projects focused on geography and disaster management, particularly in the context of climate-vulnerable regions. Interns will assist in data collection, spatial analysis using GIS software, literature review, and preparation of research reports and policy briefs. Emphasis will be placed on understanding local vulnerabilities, disaster risk reduction strategies, and the role of community-based resilience planning.
