About Internship

Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, from R N S Institute of Technology , is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Image Processing.

The selected interns will work on designing a robust system that leverages machine learning and computer vision techniques to accurately detect and classify sign language gestures in real-time. Sign language is a main mode of communication for the vocally disabled. This language uses a set of representations, which include finger signs, expressions, or a mixture of two to express their information, among others. Yet not everyone is able to interpret sign language, which might result in miscommunication.
