About Internship

Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, from R N S Institute of Technology , is accepting interns interested in the field of Computer Science Engineering, in the research area of Cyber Security.

In recent years, the adoption of Internet on Vehicles (IoV) has increased dramatically, facilitating more intelligent, secure, and interconnected driving experiences. Various forms of Internet connectivity are available in vehicles, including integrated systems, tethered connections, and portable Wi-Fi hotspots. Contemporary automobiles from manufacturers like Tesla, General Motors, and Mercedes feature built-in connectivity through Sim cards or e-SIMS, offering direct Internet access from the vehicle. Tethered connectivity is achieved by linking external devices, such as smartphones, via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi hotspots. Some vehicles are equipped with mobile Wi-Fi hotspots powered by cellular data, enabling multiple devices to connect simultaneously. The demand for Internet connectivity in vehicles is growing due to its numerous applications. These include navigation services with real-time traffic updates, GPS mapping, and route adjustments. In-vehicle entertainment options, such as streaming music, podcasts, and videos through platforms like Spotify, Netflix, or YouTube, are becoming increasingly popular. This is particularly beneficial for passengers, especially those in the rear seats, who can enjoy uninterrupted streaming.
