Assistant Professor & Head of Department, Department of Social Work , from Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science , is accepting interns interested in the field of Public Health, in the research area of Community Health.
This internship offers hands-on experience in applied public health research with a focus on improving health outcomes at the community level. Under expert guidance, the intern will contribute to the design, implementation, and analysis of community-based health research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and data evaluations. Key areas of learning and engagement include: 1. Social determinants of health 2. Community health needs assessment 3. Health equity and policy analysis 4. Community mental health and wellbeing 5. Health systems accountability Interns will also assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and educational materials to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and the wider public.
