Head of Department from KL University, India, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Public Health, in the research area of Aging and Gerontology.
This internship provides structured research exposure in the field of geriatric health, with a focus on the assessment of health status, lifestyle determinants, and quality of life among older adults. Candidates will be introduced to the formulation of research protocols, development of case report forms and informed consent documentation, and systematic collection of demographic, socioeconomic, clinical, dietary, and lifestyle data. The programme will further involve exposure to geriatric assessment methodologies, cognitive screening, interpretation of relevant health parameters, and fundamental principles of biostatistical analysis, including sample size estimation and data management. Emphasis will also be placed on research ethics, scientific methodology, and evidence-based approaches to understanding healthy ageing.
