Advanced Manufacturing Processes (AMP) have become a critical area of research due to the increasing demand for high-performance products, sustainable practices, and cost-efficient production systems. My research focuses on integrating simulation, optimization, and data-driven methods to enhance the efficiency, flexibility, and resilience of modern manufacturing systems. Specifically, the work explores advanced processes such as additive manufacturing, high-speed machining, and hybrid manufacturing, with an emphasis on process modeling, quality control, and resource optimization. A significant part of this research involves developing digital twins and AI-based predictive models that can simulate process behavior under varying conditions, enabling real-time decision-making and defect minimization. Additionally, sustainability is a key dimension, where life cycle assessment (LCA) and energy consumption modeling are applied to evaluate the environmental footprint of advanced processes. Another focus is on resilient supply chain integration, ensuring that advanced manufacturing technologies can adapt to disruptions while maintaining productivity and cost-effectiveness. The outcomes of this work are expected to contribute to the development of smart factories under Industry 4.0, where advanced manufacturing processes, intelligent resource allocation, and data analytics converge to create competitive, sustainable, and adaptive manufacturing ecosystems.
