This internship provides focused exposure to biostatistics with an emphasis on clinical trials, highlighting the role of statistical methods in medical and health-related research. Interns will learn how statistical design, analysis, and interpretation support evidence-based decision-making in clinical studies. During the internship, students will: 1. Study the fundamentals of clinical trial design, including phases, randomization, and ethical considerations. 2. Learn key biostatistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, survival analysis, and regression methods used in clinical research. 3. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data using appropriate statistical techniques. 4. Work with real or simulated clinical datasets to understand variability, bias, and uncertainty. 5. Review clinical research literature to understand statistical reporting standards. 6. Support documentation, result interpretation, and preparation of analytical summaries under supervision. By the end of the internship, students will gain: 1.
