Assistant professor , Department of Aerospace Engineering , from Institute of Aeronautical Engineering Hyderabad , is accepting interns interested in the field of Mechanical Engineering, in the research area of Mechanisms, Design and Optimisation.
This internship focuses on the design, analysis, and optimization of aircraft landing gear and fuselage structures using composite materials. Interns will work with advanced engineering tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, and ANSYS (APDL) to model, simulate, and evaluate mechanical components under various load and environmental conditions. Key areas of exploration include: CAD modeling of fuselage and landing gear using CATIA and SolidWorks Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS APDL for stress, load, and vibration testing Material optimization, with a focus on composite structures Performance testing under diverse weather and operational scenarios Cross-analysis under static and dynamic loads
