About Internship

Assistant professor , Department of Liberal studies, from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun (UPES Dehradun), is accepting interns interested in the field of Economics, in the research area of Agricultural Economics.

The responsibilities under this internship include: 1. An in-depth Literature Review on the practice of stubble burning in India between the 1950s and 1990s. 2. Comparison of the literature regarding the Minimum Support Price Scheme (2008-2009) with earlier policies. 3. Creating a Project Report. Selected interns are expected to be well-versed with qualitative analysis, research writing and research methodology. Knowledge of Stata is essential.
