Assistant Professor, Department of School of Internal Security and SMART Policing, from Rashtriya Raksha University, is accepting interns interested in the field of Environmental Science, in the research area of Disaster Management .

The Professor is seeking a motivated intern with skills in Python, Google Earth Engine, image processing, and GIS to support their research on disaster management, climate change, and security studies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply technical skills in real-world scenarios and contribute to critical environmental research. Responsibilities: 1. Utilize Google Earth Engine to analyze satellite imagery related to disaster-affected areas. 2. Develop Python scripts for data processing and automation of GIS workflows. Assist in the creation of visualizations and maps that communicate findings effectively. 3. Collaborate with the research team to identify key areas of study related to climate impacts and security. 4. Contribute to reports and presentations summarizing research results. Qualifications: 1. Proficiency in Python and experience with Google Earth Engine. 2. Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and image processing techniques. 3.
