About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of English literature , from University of Mysore, Mysuru, is accepting interns interested in the field of Gender studies, in the research area of Postcolonial theory .

This internship is in the field of Gender Studies, with a specialized focus on Postcolonial Theory to explore critical themes of colonisation and decolonisation, with an emphasis on how these processes intersect with gender and identity in postcolonial contexts. The selected candidates shall be provided with guidance to conduct research in the area aimed ultimately towards research publications. A good understanding of research methodologies and a good grasp of written communication skills are required. The professor shall accept cross-disciplinary candidates from social sciences and humanities' fields including political science, sociology, history, english literature, etc.
