Assistant Professor from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India(UPES Dehradun), is accepting candidates interested in the field of Law, in the research area of Intellectual Property Law.
This internship focuses on the evolving intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Copyright Law, with an emphasis on understanding how existing legal frameworks address the challenges posed by AI-generated content. Interns will engage in comprehensive legal research and analysis to examine issues related to authorship, ownership, originality, and infringement, as they pertain to creative works produced autonomously or semi-autonomously by AI systems. The scope of work will include reviewing relevant case law, international legal developments, and proposed regulatory frameworks, while critically evaluating how traditional principles of copyright are being tested in the age of generative AI. Interns may also contribute to drafting research reports, policy briefs, or academic articles under supervision.
