This internship offers interns an opportunity to work at the intersection of financial markets, risk management, urban economics, and transport economics. The program is designed to provide research-oriented exposure to how financial systems interact with urban development, infrastructure planning, transportation networks, and economic decision-making. Interns will engage with both theoretical and empirical research, developing an understanding of how financial instruments, market risks, and economic policies shape cities and mobility systems. During the internship, interns will: 1. Conduct a structured review of existing academic literature related to financial markets, financial instruments, risk management, urban economics, and transport economics. 2. Assist in collecting, compiling, and organizing secondary datasets from sources such as financial databases, government publications, policy reports, and international organizations. 3. Perform data visualization tasks to present trends, patterns, and relationships using charts, graphs, and dashboards. 4. Contribute to meta-analyses by synthesizing findings across multiple studies to identify broader economic insights. 5. Support quantitative and qualitative data analysis under supervision, including interpreting economic indicators and financial metrics. By the end of the internship, interns will gain: 1. A strong conceptual understanding of financial markets, risk management practices, and their links to urban and transport economics. 2. Practical experience in research methods, data compilation, visualization, and analytical interpretation. 3. Exposure to interdisciplinary economic research relevant to policy-making, urban planning, infrastructure finance, and financial analysis.
