About Internship

Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, from Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, is accepting interns interested in the field of Chemical Engineering, in the research area of Chemical Reactor Analysis and Design.

This internship provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced researchers and faculty on advanced topics in chemical reaction engineering. The selected candidate will engage in literature review, mathematical modeling, analytical/numerical solution of reactor design equations, and sensitivity analysis of key parameters influencing reactor performance. The scope includes ideal and non-ideal reactor systems (CSTR, PFR, batch reactors), reaction kinetics, residence time distribution (RTD), and scale-up methodologies. Exposure to software tools like MATLAB, Python, or Aspen Plus for modeling and simulation is desirable but not mandatory. The intern is expected to contribute to drafting technical reports, preparing research manuscripts, and participating in academic discussions. This role is ideal for candidates planning to pursue higher studies or a career in R&D in the field of chemical engineering.
