POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH, Department of RENAL TRANSPLANT SURGERY, from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh (PGIMER Chandigarh), is accepting interns interested in the field of Biotechnology, in the research area of Cell Biology.
This research internship focuses on developing functional kidney organoid systems with integrated blood vessel formation, aiming to replicate the complex nephron-vascular interactions observed in vitro. The project holds significant potential for modeling nephrogenesis, understanding kidney disease mechanisms, and contributing to regenerative therapies for renal failure. Interns will work on 3D organoid culture, stem cell differentiation protocols, and advanced imaging techniques to study and enhance vascularization within kidney organoids. The project addresses current barriers in organoid vascularization and provides hands-on experience at the intersection of developmental biology, tissue engineering, and biomedical innovation.
