Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, is accepting interns interested in the field of Physics, in the research area of Computational Physics .
This internship focuses on the theoretical design and simulation of 2D materials using DFT techniques to explore their potential in energy storage, CO2 reduction, and water splitting. Interns will analyze electronic, optical, and catalytic properties to identify promising candidates for renewable energy and environmental sustainability. Interns will investigate the electronic and magnetic properties of advanced materials, such as Kagome systems and doped nanoclusters, for their potential in quantum computing. The project involves understanding tunable quantum states and designing materials for next-generation computing devices.
