Scientist F Medical from ICMR - National Institute of Cholera & Enteric Diseases, Kolkata (ICMR-NICED Kolkata), is accepting candidates interested in the field of Public Health, in the research area of Epidemiology.
This short-term research internship provides an opportunity to contribute to public health research in the areas of epidemiology, bacterial infections, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and ageing. Interns will participate in the research process from identifying and selecting a relevant research topic to collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. The internship will involve research topic selection, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of findings, and research report writing. Interns will gain practical exposure to public health research methodology and develop skills in research planning, data handling, analytical reasoning, and scientific reporting while contributing to research on contemporary public health challenges.
