Professor from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Zoology, in the research area of Applied Entomology.
This research internship provides an opportunity to conduct research in Applied Entomology, with a focus on insect-plant interactions, chemical ecology of insects, and edible insects. Interns will investigate interactions between insects and plants, explore the chemical mechanisms underlying insect behavior and ecological interactions, and contribute to research on the potential applications and significance of edible insects. The internship will involve data acquisition, organization and analysis of research data, statistical analysis, and modelling to investigate patterns and relationships in insect ecology. Interns will also contribute to literature review, interpretation of research findings, and scientific documentation, gaining practical experience in entomological research, ecological data analysis, statistical methods, and research modelling.
