About Internship

Head of Department , Department of Chemistry, from Govt. Home Science College , is accepting interns interested in the field of Chemistry, in the research area of Computational chemistry.

This internship focuses on exploring the biological properties of phytochemicals using computational chemistry techniques. Interns will gain hands-on experience in predicting ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, and Toxicity) profiles of natural compounds through quantum mechanical methods and molecular docking tools. Designed for students in chemistry, pharmacy, or related disciplines, this project provides exposure to key tools in computational drug discovery and molecular modeling. By the end of the internship, students will be able to conduct in silico screening of phytochemicals and interpret their potential therapeutic relevance. Key Outcomes: Understand ADMET profiling and its role in drug discovery Learn to use molecular docking and QM-based tools Analyze and interpret biological interactions of phytochemicals Gain practical skills in computational chemistry software
