About Internship

Assistant Professor, Department of History , from University of Delhi , is accepting interns interested in the field of History, in the research area of Women's History .

This internship offers an opportunity to critically examine representations of women's roles, autonomy, and influence within Brahmanical textual traditions. Focusing on selected Puranic and Shastric sources, the project aims to explore how women's agency is constructed, contested, or constrained in religious and legal discourses. Interns will engage in close textual analysis, historical contextualization, and interpretative research, contributing to broader discussions in gender studies, South Asian literature, and religious history.
