Lecturer from University of Nizwa, Oman, is accepting candidates interested in the field of Architecture, in the research area of Sustainable Urban Design .
Selected interns will engage in interdisciplinary research combining architecture, climate simulation, and data-driven urban analysis. The project focuses on sustainable urban design, integrating climate simulation tools, GIS-based data science, and space syntax analysis to evaluate and optimize urban form, spatial connectivity, and environmental performance. Interns will assist in collecting, processing, and interpreting spatial and climatic data, running simulation models, and contributing to the visualization and interpretation of results. This internship provides hands-on exposure to computational urban design methods and sustainability assessment techniques that bridge architecture, data science, and environmental engineering.
