Head of Department from Satoru Foundation, Telangana, India, is accepting interns interested in the field of Psychology, in the research area of Clinical Psychology.

The selected Research Assistants will receive the Satoru Foundation Fellowship, a paid, hands-on research experience designed to study ageing within urban communities across Hyderabad, Telangana. Fellows will work directly with older adults to understand their lived experiences, mental health, and social well-being, and to explore how urbanization shapes the experience of growing old. The six-month fellowship begins with a one-month intensive training in field research methods, survey design, and qualitative interviewing. This is followed by five months of fieldwork, where fellows will serve as Field Research Assistants. Additionally, under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, participants will contribute to survey design, data collection, community engagement, and qualitative analysis to identify key factors affecting the well-being and social participation of older adults. Outstanding fellows may be credited as co-authors in resulting research publications, gaining valuable exposure to the academic research process. Eligibility: Open to students from Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Life Sciences or Public Health, particularly those interested in ageing, mental health, and community-based research. Proficiency in Hindi and Telugu is required for effective field engagement.
