Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE), Bengaluru invites applications for full-time PhD positions under the Faculty of Applied Sciences as part of the DSCE Doctoral Fellowship Scheme 2025. Selected candidates will work within Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)-recognized research centers and contribute to foundational and interdisciplinary research across core scientific domains that support engineering and technology innovation. Applicants may pursue research in the following specializations: Physics Chemistry Mathematics Computer Application Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Conduct original research in any approved Applied Sciences domain. 2. Perform analytical, experimental, computational, or simulation-based investigations. 3. Publish research findings in reputed journals and present at national/international conferences. 4. Collaborate with faculty mentors, research groups, and interdisciplinary teams. 5. Participate in laboratory work, data analysis, documentation, and periodic progress reviews. Eligibility: 1. Must meet VTU norms for PhD admission. 2. Candidates must have a valid VTU-ETR score, or qualification in UGC-NET (including JRF) / SLET / GATE or other equivalent national-level examinations recognized by VTU. 3. Should possess the minimum qualifying marks as required by VTU and respective exam authorities. 4. Open to candidates with strong academic backgrounds in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, Materials Science, Computer Science or related scientific specializations.
